PRESS RELEASE
Mark Krauss, Owner of American Cord & Webbing Acquires APP, Adding 25,000 Square Feet and Capabilities
We would like to announce that on December 31st, 2019, Mark Krauss, Owner of American Cord & Webbing Co., Inc. (“ACW”) acquired a leading custom injection molding company, Advantage Plastic Product (“APP”) which has been operating out of Concord, New Hampshire for over 21 years. The new entity will operate under the name ACW Plastic Products, Inc. (APP), DBA Advantage Plastic Products.
Founded in 1917, ACW is a fourth-generation family-owned manufacturer of narrow textile webbing, industrial sewing and injection molded plastic hardware. As part of ACW’s continuing expansion, this acquisition will improve our business growth, allowing both companies to combine resources and enhancing performance. United by a common business culture, combining the expertise, innovation and solutions of both companies will greatly expand our product offerings and markets.
Our goal is still 100% customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to increasing the selection and quality of products as well as maintaining the support our customers have come to expect from ACW. All sales contacts and support procedures outside of accounting will remain unchanged, so please continue to use the existing channels.
Shipping on most plastic molded products will move from ACW’s facility in Woonsocket, RI to APP’s facility in Concord, NH. Order acknowledgements, packing slips and invoices will now be generated from APP. Please note that the remit to address for all payments on plastics molded products will change for ACW customers. This will be noted on all order acknowledgements and invoices.
We look forward to this new era as we continue to form our legacy and build on our strong reputation. We could not have achieved this level of success without our employees, customers and suppliers, and for that we would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation.
